i would never imagine how a trip can be so thought provoking. my world view is utterly challenged that i feel so vulnerable in front of a world that is totally foreign to me.
when Moses was on the hill with God and got what later known as the 10 commandments, Aaron and the Israelite down the hill cast an ox with all the gold that they had, not because they wanted to worship another idol but they wanted to worship God in the form of an ox. God taking the form of ox is more humane and more accessible to them. but is God the golden cattle in their mind?
Not the least.
The world is just not the way we perceive it to be no matter how thorough your understanding is, yet staying with where we are can never give us the true answer as we desire.
I thank God for opening my eyes.
